Keeping in the theme of our talented neighbours at the Tannery, another close neighbour and friend, Melissa Doherty is opening her art studio to the public on Friday, April 29 - Saturday, April 30. Melissa's work is genuine, one of a kind and certainly an inspiration to view. Join us - Studio 430B, in the Tannery (121 Charles St. W, Kitchener) between 10 am and 5pm for a first-hand look at

All of us here at CuteGecko would like to announce a heartfelt congratulations to Dan, PJ, Brent, Gord and Mark. Thank you for showing us that hard work really does pay off! We first met Dan, one of the three founders, at his locally organized event, Startup Drinks, in

Here's where I could be modest about the day's success... but I just can't - it was spectacular! Personally, my day began on Wednesday with the full day prep and organization which continued into Thursday morning. I am amazed at how smooth things went - volunteers and team leads knew their

Post a comment (3)Tuesday February 15th, saw the 3rd annual Foodlink workshop, primarily aimed at delivering valuable tools and communications to Waterloo Region's agricultural community. Foodlink approached CuteGecko through our close affiliation from working together last year. They needed to see if we would be interested in headlining the day's workshop, with a focus on further educating the benefits of having a brand and an advertising & marketing campaign, to which we were too happy to assist

Last year, we watched the the 2009 version and enjoyed it so much that we thought it best to head over again. The theatre was packed - I think half of Waterloo had the same idea. I've put together a short-list of some of the ads. I hope you've got

Here's the run-down for anyone who hasn't heard the hype yet - TED: Ideas worth Spreading are "Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world" These international conferences are inspiring, rewarding and pretty elite. The great thing about our event is the addition of the

We're modeling them below - no need to critique our modeling skills, that's not our day job. We sourced them from DNA Silk Screening on Charles Street in Kitchener & have found the quality there quite nice. Let us know if you have any aspirations for your own t-shirt/hoodie design (or CuteGecko inspired) and we'll

Since our last digital existence, CuteGecko has changed from 'CuteGecko' to 'CuteGecko Inc.' We've also moved offices (with a complete interior design overhaul) into the Tannery District in Kitchener. We will make sure to have more up-to-date information on our blog

Beautifully crafted at The Sign Depot, I would recommend these guys any day for creating this masterpiece on a miraculously short timeline. Our friend Lisa provided us with some teasers along the way: This morning, some friendly guys came by for an installation and the results are incredibly exciting for us!
Here we are folks, all moved in a raring to go! The paint is dry, the furniture is in and work has begun to feel normal again. We've even got a window now. As you can see, the immaculate blue goes with everything - including the retro orange and comfy couch. Our 'board room table' is looking for some rejuvenation but will fit in nicely once we've finished with it. My trusty little type-writer even
